Using the Present Moment Meditation tools is an easy way to stay present regardless of where you are or what you are doing. At home, work or out-and-about, these tools can be used very naturally to help you stay present and at peace throughout your day.
Why is it so hard to stay present in the moment?
What's needed is for us to sharpen our skills so that we are able to control our mind and manage the direction of our thinking. Make it a practice throughout the day to check-in with your mind. Become aware of your thoughts and mental images.
Strengthen the muscle of your mind by staying focused in the present. If your mind wanders, no problem...simply bring it back to what is happening now. Keep practicing!
